Masterworks Revisited is a set of photo-collages based on paintings of Vermeer, Rembrandt and modern artists such as Gauguin, Picasso and others. Objects which are often found in my works such as birds, glowing balls, cats and dogs are integrated into the images. The referenced paintings span centuries yet are chosen for their continuity with the underline artwork. Some of the selections are presented in stages, variations of the same work. As a work progresses I add, subtract or adjust layers and objects. Some changes are subtle others are more visible. It is suggested to study the changes to see how the work evolves. The variation with the highest number represent the final change or edition. The quoted artworks are respectfully referenced.
